Santa Elena

The capital of La Gran Sabana and is the largest and most developed city in southern Bolivar.
Santa Elena was founded in 1927 by Lucas Fernández Peña, but had to wait until 1973 to take the first dirt road, passable only in rustic, with the need to cross rivers without bridges that connected the north of Bolivar State. In 1991 the route was paved.

Food:
The best choices are Alfredo's with emphasis on seafood Perimeter Avenue. Hunger Street with a lot of hot dog carts, seeds. My Toñita Chef Francisco Ruiz offers a gourmet menu of the day with entrance and main course options crepe filled with entries like broccoli and cheese gratin or boiled beef, and main Pebe chicken or beef tenderloin with teriyaki sauce contours of fried rice with vegetables, soy meat croquettes and salad. Mana, Calle del Hambre (open only for lunch) and Nova OPCA, in the Perimeter (service weight).
